Purchased this oven a tiny under two years ago & the paint under the control panel area is peeling & bubbling. This is right above where the heat comes out & the top does get very hot when you use the oven. Called Frigidaire & was told this is a "cosmetic issue" not a defect & that even if I had only owned it for a week it would not be covered under warranty. I bought this to match the stainless steel gallery dishwasher I bought simultaneously but had I done some more research perhaps I would've bought another brand. Frigidaire customer support unhelpful & unapologetic - would not purchase again.

The burners have never failed to light first try. There's of them little ones & giant. The smaller burners struggle to bring a giant pot of water to a boil. The massive does the job tremendous speedy. This means if I am cooking a pot of pasta, & something else requiring a giant pan, of them has to must wait in line for the single giant burner.

The grates remove basically, making cleanup a snap. I am a messy cook so that is important to me. My last range had a ceramic cook top. The before that was a coil. Despite the drawbacks, I am liking this stove top better than my earlier ceramic top range, & the coil I had before that.

The oven comes with oven shelves. It is roomy inside, but baking leads to uneven browning. When broiling, the food at the middle of the oven browns, while the food at the edges is barely touched.

If I had to do over I think I would have gotten a dual fuel range, with a gas stove top, but with an electric oven. But I do love the stove top, I wish it had TWO giant burners in lieu of . That is a serious drawback for me.
