I have had this range for a small over years and I am an avid cook. In fact I am a brand ambassador for an online cooking site and I check, rate and review recipes constantly. After reading the earlier reviews, I am hesitant to give a lovely review. I knocked wood, so here I go. To start with, I will agree with some of the complaints. The right front and left rear burners are not powerful, but I do find them handy for slow simmers. I do brush up against the electronic panel on occasion and consequently the cue lights for various operations will come up. I hit the cancel button because I am used to it now. I have been satisfied with the oven. I like to bake. The temperature on mine, runs consistently correct and it is roomy. All that being said, I think customer support for all Whirlpool manufactured lines, Including KitchenAid suck. I bought an identical italian door frig. and dishwasher that have had some issues. I did buy an extended warranty thank god, cuz the dishwasher has been a constant issue. I have always put KitchenAid dishwashers in my homes and I always loved them. This has been my waterloo however. The excuses I have received from the service techs is that these products are made in Mexico now. I don't know where they make them, but I do know that their customer support is right here in the USA and they don't give a flip about the issues of their customers. Shameful indeed.

We have owned this range for twenty months and have had constant issues. First, the oven thermostat would not work when the power burner was on. Then, the oven thermostat blew when they used the automatic cleaning feature. Now, the meat probe is unreliable to be used at all; the oven temperature still fluctuates so wildly that a 375 degree setting will actually be under 340 or over 410 on a separate thermometer placed in the oven, and if the oven preheats at all it takes about twenty minutes to reach an alleged temperature of 350 and then never alerts you that it is hot. I am afraid to try to neat the oven again because the repairman told me they would blow the thermostat every time they used that feature. of the gas burners are all right and have a lovely simmer feature, but the front right burner has such a low btu output that the burner is useless.
